GBSS has a comprehensive and experienced team that works together to provide a wide range of support services, catering to the diversity of need in the community.

The GBSS Team comprises the following:

The Respite and Day Services (RADS) Team: including over 40 support workers who come with a varied experiences in a range of settings including disAbility and mental health. Many of our support workers also know or are learning Auslan.

The Therapy Team: a team of therapists including Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Specialist Educators.

The Therapy and RADS team are supported by an Operational Team including two Directors and multiple departments including Administration, Client Services Officers, Finance, Human Relations, Information Technology, Data Analyst. The team also includes a Quality Assurance and Compliance Advisor, an Intake & Programs Officer and a WHS & Liaison Officer.

GBSS also provide access to a Plan Management Service team which is located in Maryland Street.

The GBSS Team is governed by a voluntary Management Committee comprising family members of people with a disAbility, individuals with a disAbility and interested community members.
